Scenario A new company has been set up to look into ways of reducing global warming.
You are newly employed in this company. Your task is to assist in carrying out
research into energy saving programmes. Your first assignment on the job is to
explore different forms of energy and their conversions and to look into the
possibilities of conserving energy on a local scale.
You will then carry out further investigations to investigate and evaluate different
energy conversion processes.
You are asked to pay careful attention to the way in which your findings are
presented.

Write a paragraph on each of the following types of energy transfers:

1. The energy transfers that take place in metabolism.
2. How nuclear energy is transferred to electrical energy
3. The energy transfers that take place in the combustion of fuel.
