Structure of site – The way of the page which has been set out, the design, e.g. the colour or
the structure of the design. The display of the products which the page has, for instance,
how they are setting out their products; are the shirts and t-shirts on separate pages or on
the same one. Additionally, the way the products have been set out on the page, e.g. is it
just one row going down or is it multiple rows and columns.
Personal details entry - meaning your address, your name, your email etc. If they choose to
keep it all confidential to only you and them or make it publicly to allow everyone to view it.
Credit card entry the details of your credit card and what types of card payments will they
accept and decline. And if they choose to keep it confidential to only you and them or make
it public.
Other types of payments - for example PayPal, Google wallet, or Nochex and if it’s possible
for them to utilise those payments methods on their websites. Delivery details; how it will
be delivered to a consumer’s household. They will need their address, email, full name,
contact number, credit card number etc.
Hosting – Who will run the site which company will oversee your files and manage it. You
will need to pay a company so they may run your files on their web servers. The domain
name system will be assigned to the owner of the website.
Promotion – Promotion meaning ways in which you may advertise your website so it will
become more popular hence more customers hence more sales. The site can be advertised
in multiple ways, such as social network advertising like Facebook, Twitter, Google and
YouTube. Other ways could be spam emails, newspaper advertisements and billboards
advertisements.
Search engines advertisements - which will place specific advertisements onto web pages
you visit, it is determined by what you search hence the name search engines
advertisements. Message boards, they are sites in which people will discuss topics openly
and can also be used to advertise on it. Similar to chat rooms which also allows advertising
on their websites, you will need to pay these websites first when that’s done they will start
advertising your website on their pages.
