Introduction: In this assignment I was asked to describe the documentation that is required tobe qualified for the recruitment in company called “Monsoon” also to describe the skills that are
required to obtain the job. Those skills are: Employability, Personal and Communication.

Job Description
A job description consists several elements, one of them is the position that the business is looking
to employ someone, for example Monsoon is looking for Sales Assistant and that’s what can been
seen on the job description of Monsoon. The next thing is the purpose of the job, in this example
it’s sales assistance, so the business that looking for employee for this position needs to describe the
purpose and role of the job and key functions for example this could be part of the job description:
employees should be confident about selling, have a positive, helpful attitude, can get on well with
a wide range of customers, So after reading the job description the potential employee will know if
the jobs suits him/her and if this role can be managed by him/her.
Also in job description there should be added by the business, the path of promotion, so by being
employed as Sales assistance the path of promotion is open for other higher and better paid job role
for example it can lead to become retail manager. All of this information must be contained in job
description.
Person Specification
Person specification describes what skills are required to obtain a job position in this example its
Sales assistance in Monsoon. Person specification can outline the educational requirements, training
experience as well as more personal qualification and are required for this specific job position. For
sales assistance position the Person specification may include: Experience (previous experience in
sales or sales events) , skills and ability (required by the company that recruit employees for example
: excellent sales skills or clean written and verbal communication) , Attitude (Enthusiastic, energetic,
creative and motivating) , qualification and trainings (Good IT competency – able to use database,
spreadsheet and word processing packages ) and personal qualities (Enthusiastic and outgoing; able
to enthuse, support, give confidence) This information must be included in Person Specification.
