For this assignment I will use branding methods and techniques to recommend a brand
personality and a target market for a brand.
Logos – This can help raise brand awareness, and can make people recognise the brand. Logos
can make the company and product unique. This can also be classified as branding by imagery.
Straplines – This is usually five words in length, and should deliver a clear message to potential
customers of what is the product all about. It should be simple, catchy and unforgettable. This
can also be used in advertisements.
Celebrity endorsements – This is a great way of advertising a certain a product, as well people
will see a well known celebrity using a certain product. Potential customers will be intrigued of
what the product is all about, and will possibly be persuaded to buy.
Type of brand – The type of brand depends on what they are selling or the brand could be
related to the product. For example: ‘’Intel’’ as it related to technology, they produce
technological products such as laptops.
Considerations – To generate maximum sales, you must think of a product which can be used
by all people, no matter what their race is, nationality, religion, children, people with disabilities
and it should be environment friendly. A good example would be food, For example: a company
that grows fruits, such as grapes. Everyone can eat grapes
Brand personality – Developing a brand personality could attract more people and generate
income. You can also connect to customers if you developed your brand personality very well
and it can make the product very memorable.
Brand objectives – One of objectives will be building customer awareness, because if you target
the desired customer base, the business can easily access what it needs to do to increase
customer awareness.
Target market – This is a group of customers of which a business has decided to aim its
marketing efforts. For example: McDonald’s they are targeting people who want to enjoy
comfort foods.
Logo – The logo needs to be attractive and unique. It needs to be recognisable, because potential
customers would always find a logo. For example: McDonald’s logo. The customers will just find
the big letter ‘’M’’ logo and they will know it’s McDonald’s which is a fast food restaurant.
Strapline – There are different products out there with different straplines, for example: Nike’s
strapline is ‘’just do it’’ which motivates a majority of the customers. Most of the customer buy
Nike product are athletes, which motivates them to train harder every day.
