Development are things that are always growing and changing.
Toll Roads
A toll road is a road which drivers must pay to use. The money which the drivers pay
goes towards paying the maintenance of the road and any other construction. Tolls are
not just collected on roads, they are collected on bridges and tunnels. The only road toll
in the UK is the M6. The M6 motorway runs from junction 19 of the M1 at the Catthorpe
Interchange, near Rugby via Birmingham then heads north, passing Stoke-on-Trent,
Liverpool, Manchester, Preston, Lancaster, Carlisle and terminating at the Gretna
junction. Toll roads are used to make things easier, instead of going a longer route you
can chose to pay to go a faster more convenient route but you have to pay. They are also
used to help reduce congestion. Below are a list of all of the tolls in the UK.
