The interface mentioned here is being designed with the primary goal of providing ease of use to
all users, including those with accessibility needs. A touchscreen interface is being considered
because it offers an intuitive and user-friendly way of interacting with the system. In contrast to
traditional keyboard and mouse input, a touchscreen allows users to interact with the system
using intuitive gestures and tapping actions. This makes it easier for people with mobility or vision
impairments to use the system. A graphics tablet may potentially also need to be used, this is so I
can manually draw assets digitally.....................................................................................................5
To ensure that users can easily and freely use the interface, the screen will need to be around 3ft x
2ft in size. This provides a large and clear display that is easy to read and interact with. A large
screen also ensures that users with visual impairments can easily read the information on the

originally saved as a .TIF file format which is used in high-quality images such as by a publishing

saves a lot of storage.......................................................................................................................10

Assignment 02
The interface was meticulously designed with large, user-friendly buttons specifically tailored for
easy navigation, especially considering it will be used on a touchscreen device. This thoughtful
design approach ensures that all users, including those with physical disabilities, can effortlessly
interact with the interface. The buttons are not only large but also distinctly outlined, providing a
clear visual indication of the area users can press and ensuring that the button responds
accordingly.......................................................................................................................................18
To enhance usability further, each page within the interface incorporates clear headings, allowing
users to quickly identify their current location and navigate through the interface seamlessly.
Moreover, every page features a dedicated home button, granting users the convenience of
returning to the main menu whenever necessary...........................................................................18
With these carefully implemented features, the interface guarantees a user-friendly experience
for individuals of varying abilities, empowering them to easily navigate, access information, and
interact with the system..................................................................................................................18
quality of the solution......................................................................................................................18
Based on my evaluation, the feedback I received on my solution indicates that it was exceptionally
well done. Even though the rating scale ranged from 1 to 5, the lowest rating I received was a 2,
which indicates a high level of quality and effectiveness. This suggests that my solution exceeded
expectations and was considered a top-notch solution...................................................................19
Receiving a rating of 2 out of 5 as the lowest score reinforces the notion that my solution was
outstanding. It demonstrates that my approach was thorough, meticulous, and delivered the
desired outcomes. The reviewer clearly recognized the effort, creativity, and expertise I put into
developing the solution...................................................................................................................19
Overall, this positive feedback validates my hard work and proficiency. It signifies that my solution
not only met the requirements but also surpassed them, impressing the evaluator. Knowing that
my efforts were well-received and acknowledged as a high-quality solution is truly satisfying......19
constraints, e.g., time, sourcing hardware components, platform, compatibility...........................19
Legal considerations........................................................................................................................20
The interface was meticulously designed to be original and distinct, avoiding any risk of copyright
infringement. Extensive research was conducted to ensure that the concept is entirely unique,
setting it apart from any existing works or designs. Furthermore, the creator possesses the
necessary Intellectual Property (IP) rights and can substantiate the dates of creation, providing a
strong foundation to defend against any potential legal disputes...................................................20
During the project, strict adherence to copyright laws was a priority. External assets were properly
credited using an asset table, ensuring the original creators were acknowledged. It was important
to avoid claiming ownership of others' work and instead give credit where it was due. Respecting
copyright laws and providing accurate attribution was not only a legal requirement but also a
moral responsibility, fostering a fair and collaborative environment..............................................20
In addition to safeguarding the creator's IP rights, the interface places a high priority on user
privacy. To protect sensitive information, such as payment details, a thoughtful approach has
been implemented. Specifically, when users input their payment or personal information, the
screen size dynamically adjusts, minimizing the risk of unauthorized viewing or eavesdropping.
This deliberate measure ensures that users' details remain confidential and are not inadvertently
broadcasted to unintended parties.................................................................................................20

strengths and weaknesses of the solution.......................................................................................20
Overall, while the solution exhibits commendable strengths such as easy navigation, clear
information, high-resolution images, and consistent themes, addressing the constraints of

Introduction
This assignment revolves around making an interface for a brief, the brief says to make an interface
for AMAP shopping centre with some designated menus. To do this meticulous planning will need to
be done and a range of preproduction documents will be made. After creation, reviewing the
interface and evaluating performance will be done.

System Design
 Tasks to be performed/client requirements
The user interface will start on a main menu, this contains 3 buttons in the middle of the page for
navigation. These buttons are Store Finder, Amenities and Travel & Help. On the store finder page
there will be a button that contains advertising, promotions and special events. This button will be
named Special offers, it will be in the top right corner as to be noticeable but still out the way. This
page will also contain different kinds of shops in the centre of the page for easy user convenience.
These main menus need to contain the following categories: parking, banks, shopping, food, search,
special offers, disabled access facilities, Centre information and navigation help. This needs to be
arranged so if the customer selects banks, all banks in the Centre will appear on the page; same with
shops etc. other than this, general features such as scrolling up and down, zooming in and out, font
size and languages changing, clearly defined points of interest, current location, interactive keyboard
and audio feedback need to be available. This should be arranged into a layout or blueprint by the
28th of March.

 User needs including accessibility considerations, the
purpose of the system and environmental.
The interface will have to perform a range of operations that cater to the clients’ needs. The
interface will be designed into 3 sections with a consistent colour theme based one of the mood
board designs going through. These screens are advertising, promotions and special events. This
