My choice of event

My team and I have made a collective decision to organize a culture day event with the
primary goal of celebrating and embracing diverse cultures. We believe that by doing so, we
can foster an environment that is both diverse and inclusive. Our intention is to show
appreciation for different cultures and their unique contributions, as well as to educate all
attendees about the various aspects of these cultures, including their food and music.

To arrive at this decision, we brainstormed and listed few event ideas for our project. After
carefully evaluating each option, the culture day event emerged as the most suitable choice.
One of the key factors that influenced our decision was its cost efficiency, which allows us to
make the most of our resources while still delivering a high-quality event. Additionally, the
inclusivity of the culture day event stood out, as it provided an opportunity to involve and
engage individuals from different backgrounds.

We recognized that this particular idea possessed way more strengths that outweighed its
weaknesses, unlike the other ideas we considered. While the alternative concepts had their
own merits, they also presented significant drawbacks that rendered them unsuitable for
our purposes. In contrast, the culture day event demonstrated a balance of positive aspects,
making it the ideal choice for us to pursue.

By organizing this event, we hope to foster a sense of unity, respect, and understanding
among individuals from various cultural backgrounds. We aim to create an atmosphere
where everyone feels welcome and valued, promoting dialogue and appreciation for
different perspectives. Ultimately, our goal is to cultivate a diverse and inclusive field that
celebrates the richness and beauty of all cultures.

The distribution of roles within the team for organizing the culture day event was a
collaborative and in teams. We had team discussions face-to-face and on our Microsoft
teams group chat. We put everyone in teams by assessing the area they worked best and
where most confident in by doing this everyone could enjoy what they were doing and work
efficiently so we could complete our tasks successfully as event planners. We made sure
that roles were distributed fairly, and everyone had to work in teams effeciently to
complete the tasks. We had 4 teams within our group. With one overseeing food and drinks

,the second team overseeing entertainment, the third team overseeing music, the fourth
team being the décor team and the fifth being the experience team.

Aims and objectives of the event

purpose of celebrating and including all cultures, fostering diversity, and promoting
inclusivity. Here are some potential aims and objectives of the event:

all cultural backgrounds feel valued and included. It encourages participation from diverse
groups, promoting interactions and collaborations that break down barriers and foster
