I have been Tasked to conduct research on a various type of mobile applications; I should
demonstrate evaluation with multiple instances comparing multiple applications and Their
Differentiated implementations of the apps; I must analyze all the positives advantages and
disadvantages of how the app’s performance works; I should finish with valid reasons for future
improvements.



There are 3 types of mobile apps, Native, Hybrid and web. Native App are designed for a specific
device some examples of native apps are Google wallet and Apple wallet, Google wallet is used in
Android devices. The Purpose of Google wallet is to give you access to IDs, Payment cards, tickets,
and digital home keys. The Characteristics of Google wallet is that below age 13 have some
restricted content, there are some features to help disabled people like doing contactless payment,
and screen lock in the app. The app can also function without internet, but you are able to do limited
number of purchases. The User needs of Google wallet are- To be able to pay through smartwatch,
starting a car, to have no limit to adding cards and passes. Impact- this will increase the users of
google wallet as there would be many features on app, they would have a high profit. The current
Intended user of google wallet is 100 million is and available in 40 countries. The features of Google
wallet are that it has extremely high security and all your cards are safe as your card details are not

store tickets and passes, they keep the records of your purchases and income of money.

Apple wallet is used in IOS devices. The Purpose of Apple wallet is that it can keep your debit and
credit cards, tickets, and car keys all in one place, it can connect with any other iOS device to send
them money or receive money, it can withdraw money from ATM which are contactless and
cardless. The characteristics of Apple wallet are that if you are under 13 you are not able to use it,
You can use apple wallet offline and even purchase, It has many features for disabled peoples such
as for vision impairments there is an option to voiceovers to set up a card or hear payment
notification, people with amnesia can forget the pin for their apple wallet they are allowed to do
payment without any pin for smaller payments. User need for apple wallet- Users need high security

Hybrid apps are designed for any kind of device whether it is android or iOS Examples WhatsApp
and Spotify. WhatsApp can work on both android and IOs. - The purpose of this app is to send our
texts voice messages, document location and images, make calls, receive photos and videos.
characteristics- The of user should be above 13, disabled people like blind can enable accessibility to
use WhatsApp, you cannot use it offline. The user needs of WhatsApp are that there is no restriction
on unknow users, no message scheduling, invisible mode so that your contacts do not know you are
online, Dual account support so that you can have two accounts, remove the message deleting alert,
linking status updates through all social media, add music to status updates, Impact- There would be
more user in numbers. The intended users are 1.8 billon worldwide, features of this app are you can
send one message to multiple chats, format your text, find out who you can chat with a lot, control
your privacy, it is free to use, you can message privately, can make group chats, you can add blog.
