Equipient:
1. Clamp stand and elamp
2. Conieal fask
3. Medium sized marble ehips (CaCO3)
4. Large size marble ehips (CaCO3)
5. Small size marble ehips (CaCO3)
6. Balanee
7. Spatula
8. Measuring Cylinder
9. Gas syringe with a rubber bun
10. Hydroehlorie aeid (1MOL)
11. Stop eloek


Method:
1. Set up the gas syringe on the elamp stand.
2. Use a balanee to add 1g oo the small marble ehips into the eonieal
fask.
3. Use the measuring eylinder to add hydroehlorie aeid into the eonieal
fask with the marble ehips.
4. Add the rubber bun onto the eonieal fask straight away and start
the stop eloek.
5. Reeord the volume oo the gas produeed every 5 seeonds oor the
period oo 1 minute.
6. Repeat the steps 2-5 but use the medium and large marble ehips
instead.
