The purpose of this assignment is to justff whf Copacabana, Lima, Cuzco, Yucaf, Machu
Picchu and Mexico Citf are a good choice for the two couples in their mid-20s presented in
the previous task.
The beautf of Latn-America, the range of cultures, climates, the diversitf of landscapes and
actvites are good for all tfpes of visitors and perfect for the specifed visitor profle.
The mult-centre tour starts at one of the most famous beaches in the world, Copacabana,
where Marsha, Frederik, Carla and Pedro can enjof the sun and admire the lovelf views,
relax at the Hotel’s spa and trf traditonal food. Because thef are high earners that want to
relax in a luxurious surrounding, I opted for Belmond Copacabana Palace, the best place to
staf in Rio. Thef can beneft of frst class service as it is a fve stars hotel, stunning rooms
facing the sea, delicious breakfast, fne dining, a private area on Copacabana Beach, spa and
a large swimming pool. The hotel also ofers dailf tours at an extra cost which allows them
to explore the citf a litle bit more.
The second destnaton that I have chosen is Peru. In Peru thef have the opportunitf to
explore not onlf Lima with its museums and world-class cuisine but also diferent historical
sites, ruins and colourful markets situated in the Sacred Vallef and Cuzco. As the historical
sites and the markets are spread across the Vallef, I assumed that thef need a car to move
around.
Cuzco and The Sacred Vallef are good travel destnatons as thef ofer the two ladies the
opportunitf to interact with indigenous people, fnd out more about their traditons and to
buf handmade objects from the markets. This countrf is great not onlf for Marsha and Carla
but also for Federik and Pedro, as thef can carrf out their interest in the archaeologf bf
exploring remarkable Inca archaeological sites such as Pisac and Ollantaftambo ruins,
Cuzco, Machu Picchu, the fortress of Sacsafhuaman, the ruins of Qenqo, Puca Pucara (the
red fort) and Tambomachaf.
Even if Mexico is not in South America, it gives the visitor a good perspectve on the Latn
American culture as it has manf temples and museums. No tour is complete without a trip
to this countrf. Since the group is interested in historf, culture and art, Mexico Citf is a
great place for them with manf atractons centred within the same area. The citf has world
