Tx for gangrenous/ perforated appendicitis:
- mild/ moderate severity: one AB or Cefazolin/ Ceftraixone/ Cipro/ Levaquin with Flagyl
- high risk/ severity (immunocompromised, old): Meropenem, Zosyn or Cefepime/ Cipro/
Levaquin with Flagyl.
Narrow AB once culture results available
