Subject: Future Plans
I am writng this report about the performance of the business and its fnancial
situaton. This is based on the fnancial years of 2014/15 and 2015 /16. I shall
be comparing the fnancial statements for both years and I will also be
comparing it with the fnancial statement for Sainsbury’s for the same years.
There has been a slight growth in sales of +0.1%. This is a small growth which
can be improved. Group sales are at £48.4bn excluding VAT and fuel.
Profts delivered have increased by +1.1%. Again this is only a small growth
which can be improved. Group operatng proft before exceptonal items is at
£944m.
Operatng cash flow has improved by +39% which is a signifcant improvement
but we can push to exceed this improvement.
