In this task, I will implement my event plan by staging and managing the Salvation Army
Christmas Fayre event.

Before the event

Before the event has actually started, feedback forms needed to be created and handed out to
the event attendees during the event and after so that information can be received on what
was good, what went wrong and whether or not there are any recommendations we can make
for improvements in the future.

Problems arise in all events. This is why a set of guidelines on what to do for when these
problems arise must be made. If there is a fire during the event, guidelines must be followed
such as keeping fire exits available and doors open so that people can be evacuated easily
from the venue and steer a safe distance away from the fire. Having the doors open when a
fire arises could prevent event attendees from panicking causing them to push and shove each
other wanting to leave the building. Another guideline could be to have an extra pair of hands
available to the stalls. Following this guideline will ensure that stalls didn’t get overcrowded
making people trip over others and prevents individuals running the stalls from not be able to
serve people. When stalls are getting busy, this available individual could join stall team
members and assist them in sales. Another guideline to follow is to have members of the
group regularly communicating with each other. This guideline should be especially followed
