As the marble travels down the ramp from
A → B G PE converts to KE. G PE decreases and
KE increases.
At B: GPE = 0, KE is at it's max value but
not as big as GPE max value as air resistance
and friction acts on the market.
From B → C KE converts back into GPE so
KE decreases, GPE increases. GPE doesn't
reach it's maximum again as the marble doesn't
reach C.
The marble keeps converting RE → COPE...
back and forth the ramp until KE0 6PE:O
Air resistance acts on the marble so energy is
converted into thermal energy as marble collides with
air molecules causing heat to dissipate. Friction occurs
between marble surface and the ramp surface causing
energy to convert into heat energy.
Once RE-0, all energy is transferred to
thermal/sound energy (via resistive forces) marbel stops at B-
