Lux Chocs ltd is going to open more shops in Oxfordshire and expand their shops in Europe and make an
online business to sell more chocolates, in order to make more proftt f a business is expanding, then a
manager should know the workforce profles of their employeest However, if a business has no ideas about
the skills of the workers, then if a company is going to expand to France, existng workers might not be
capable of speaking Frencht As a result of that, the business may have problems or might decide to recruit
new French speaking staft
People as organizatonal resources are very important, so they can’t be treated as machinest All people
must have a break for lunch and family in order to be happyt f people are not going to be happy, then they
might become ill and the company will have sick pay for the worker, so the company becomes less
productvet The human resources manager is responsible for looking afer the people to always keep them
healthy and happy within the conditons of their contractt
Skill sets is basically the level of human skill required to work in a specifc placet Some companies have a lot
of machines and some have a lot of workerst Capital intensive is when a business has a lot of machines

qualifed in accountngt A manager must have skills like: good leader, have good organizatonal development
skills and management skillst Many jobs will require specifc skills to work in a specifc placet
Skill acquisiton is when employees are learning new skillst This might help a company to expand in a
diferent country or diferent locatont For example, in Lux Chocs Ltd skills acquisiton will help workers to
gain more new skills and this can help to motvate them and make workers more efcientt f a worker is very
important to the company, then the organisaton is going to spend tme and money to give more skills to
