BTEC Level 3 Unit 12 BTEC Book 1 Name: Daniil Chernat

Unit ttle: Internet marketnng in business Assingnment ttle: Internet marketnng

Part 4 (M1) Analyse the benefts of Internet marketnn to customers
By lookinng at a company’s internet marketnng it is possible to identiy the benefts to
consumers.
Customisaton oi a product is all about havinng a product, that can be channged in order to make
a potental customer happier. Customers are usinng customisaton to make a specifc channge in
the product, that they are buyinng. By customisinng the product, customers can express their own
style, this can make a specifc person ieel unique, because no other customers will have exactly
the same product.

For example, ii I use the website oi Nike, then on the botom oi the
product, there is a iuncton “customise it.” By pressinng this iuncton, a
customer can choose the color oi the shoes, the type oi material and the
customer can also add initals on the side oi a shoe. By creatnng a
customizaton iuncton, Nike makes customers happier and as a result
the company makes hingher sales. Ii the company makes hingher sales,
then Nike can expand the internet market in to diferent countries. This
is a beneft to the customers, who have no store near to the locaton
where they live. It is also a beneft to the company, because customers
will have to pay more ior the customizaton iuncton. As a result Nike can
make more money. The benefts oi usinng internet marketnng are:
 The speed oi the delivery process
 The speed oi buyinng a specifc product
 The saieness oi a product delivery

Dynamic pricinng is about channges in the price oi a
specifc product. Ii there are a lot oi potental
customers, who are willinng to buy a specifc product,
then a price on it will be hingh. Ii not a lot oi customers
want to buy a product, then the price will be iairly low.
Ii I use as an example Britsh Airways airline company,
then when iew seats are sold, availability is ngood and
prices set very low. As there are less seats available,
prices dramatcally increase. So the advantange to the
customers in this situaton is, on Sunday the 13th the
price oi the tcket is £ 597 and then on 20th, the price oi
the tcket is £ 1091. This is an advantange to the
customer, because ii he/she want to finght on 13th, then
there is a diference the next week oi £ 494. As seen in this screenshot above
