Analyse identied strengths and areas for improviement in 2 diferent team sports and justfysuggestons made
Volleyball
Strengths:
Determinatin – My determinaton is essental in allowing me to contnue playing as I do
evien when things are in a dire state. This determinaton can be a kin to a resolvie that means
I will just contnue regardless of the circumstances. I can justfy saying this as I havie nevier
had a breakdown or refused to contnue to play and havie contnued playing in games of
violleyball where the other side was 7 points up, had beter players and was in possession of
the ball.
Smash – My smash is extremely efectvie and can do damage to other side. The strength of a
smash is based upon its ability to movie fast, with power and precision. Now on precision I
can ind it difcult to aim a powerful shot but that’s the price I havie to pay in exchange for
power. I can justfy saying this as whilst I can rely upon my smash to get past any
interceptng player it may miss and is likely to be out.
Cimmunicatin – I can havie efectvie communicaton skills when I need them and that I can
use them to efectviely play with other players and use strategies that previent intercepton
by players on the other team of our atacks and increase my own team’s ability to intercept
atacks. I can justfy saying this because on many occasions I havie had to decide how best to
play and by talking with other players devieloped a good strategy to defeat the other side.
Areas fir imprivement:
Teamwirk – Teamwork is a weakness of mine no doubt, whilst communicaton is a skill I’m
good at it isn`t all of what is needed in order to havie good teamwork. I havie frequent issues
with the other players and can ind it difcult to play with them. I can justfy saying this
because on a few occasions players havie got frustrated at my trying because I’m seen as
haviing low skill, and they see themselvies to havie a high leviel of skills howevier will not stop
because they want me to and as result there are issues with teamwork.
Villeys – Volleys is an issuer only because I cannot seem to do them and havie to rely on
other players as a result. Relying on other people especially in a team is a weakness I havie
and as a result violleys are something I will havie to improvie on. I can justfy saying because in
all the tme I havie played violleyball I havie only performed a violley three tmes.
Rounders
Strengths:
batting –My batng skills are based around power and accuracy when hitng the ball and
aiming it at a spot where it will be viery difcult for enemy ielders to intercept the ball and
will givie me plenty of tme to run all the statons. This skill is the reason for my success in
rounders. Howevier there is as huge faw in my batng skills and this is actually hitng the
ball. Whilst when I hit the ball I do so well actually hitng it in the irst place is difcult for me
and this to such an extent I would say that I havie more misses with the bat that actually
