,Abstract
The emerging popularity of books has provided an interesting topic for application developers.
There are many book store applications available but unfortunately, they lack the feature to rent books. But
this web application provides a platform for both buying and renting books. It makes it easier for the user
to have subscription plans that can be used while renting a book. Likewise, it also has an online payment
feature that can be used to buy or rent books easily at their convenience. Moreover, it also contains the
details about the store, along with its opening hours and location.

Developing a web application requires a lot of hard work and dedication. In order to incorporate the
missing features into the application, research about similar applications has been carried out. Similarly,
the Gantt chart and Work breakdown structure was also created in order to complete the specified task
within the given time period. Likewise, a use case diagram for the application was also created in order to
define the actors and roles of actors. Then, for selecting the right methodology for the project, research has
been carried out on various methodology along with their advantages and disadvantages. Finally, for the
successful completion of this project, the Iterative waterfall model was used.
