Colocación de los pronombres
1. Pronouns without a preposition are usually placed before the conjugated verb:
Ej. Joaquín la llama por teléfono. (la cliente)
Sofía lo lee. (el periódico)
2. However, the personal pronoun can also appear directly after the infinitive and gerundio
Ej. ¿Lees estos libros? – Sí, los estoy leyendo. = - Sí, estoy leyéndolos.
- Sí, los acabo de leer. = - Sí, acabo de leerlos.
3. In an imperative, the personal pronoun -just like in French- is always after the verb. (We
will see “el imperativo” in Capítulo 14)
