Training Categories - ANS-1. Certification;
•The initial training to gain the certification. BASRT/IASRT.

Downwind Operations - ANS-•Are restricted to those cases where the True winds are 10
Kts or less and a minimum of 5 Kts relative is maintained within the wind envelope
-OOW shall not plan for downwind ops without the express approval of the CO;
-Minimum crew complement for downwind operations shall include an MHC;
-Final acceptance/rejection remains with MHC;
-Restricted to Day VMC only;
-Extended operations should be avoided; and
-Emergency operations shall not be conducted.

Control Zone - ANS-•Halifax class (Verify HOSTAC for other Navies)
-3,500 ft and 1/2 nm.
