Study Tips - ANS-So you don't have to do all 112 terms at the same time, you can star
all of the terms in a certain period, and study only those until you get them right, then
move on to the next period.

I recommend going through the entire thing at least once because the test won't be
ordered period by period, it'll have everything all in one place.

Also I don't explain the causes behind the events too much in this quizlet, so if you're
confused about why something happened ask Mrs. Leister, google it, or look at your
own notes.

wanted to end non-Christian practices by natives, so the Pueblos rebelled, and got rid of
Spanish for 10 years. Spanish regained control and started to accept the Native
practices. (Period 2)

Enlightenment - ANS-Focuses on reason and intelligence, and it questions forms of
government such as monarchies and democracies. Focused on individuals. John Locke
and Montesquieu influenced the Framers of the Constitution. Three Branches of
government and consent of governed. (Period 2)

Mercantilism - ANS-Focused on making money for mother country and trading with
Britain only. (Period 2)

Early Colonial trends - ANS-Colonies begin to take on characteristics of Britain, done by
trans-Atlantic trade, and becoming more tied commercially. (Period 2)
