Medication Safety: Medications that can cause birth defects, expose to carcinogens, or
cause a severe allergic reaction if not handled properly - ANS-Bactrium, Penicillin,
Finasteride, Tamoxifen
Medication Safety: Dirt/Contamination - ANS-Do not dispense anything that appears
dirty or contaminated
Medication Safety: Filling/Touching - ANS-always avoid touching medications with your
bare hands
Medication Safety: Dropping medication on the floor - ANS-If a medication is
accidentally dropped on the floor, never pick it up and put it back in the bottle. It must be
disposed of in the hazardous waste container as instructed. Please check with your
pharmacist before disposing of any medication
Physical Safety: Organization and Store Setup - ANS-the floor in the pharmacy and any
storage areas must be organized, without boxes, to avoid tripping; mats or rugs must
remain flat on the floor to avoid tripping

propped open
Physical Safety: Cleaning - ANS-Alcohol wipes/swabs should be used to clean the
counters, shelves, and any pharmacy surfaces

should be used to wipe all glass surfaces including doors and drive-thru windows

and pharmacy district leader, provide any information/video request to police

scheduled work shift, breaks, and meals; location of smart track is store specific;
pharmacy team leader or mentor will assist you the first time you use the system; use
the system as instructed it affects your paycheck
Team Member Purchase Policy - ANS-1. You cannot shop for items and bring them to
the pharmacy to be paid for at a later time
2. If you wish to do some personal shopping during your breaks or lunches, you must
pay for the Items immediately. If the items are not consumed on your break, the items
should be taken to your car

members, identifies, analyzes, and documents both pharmacy incidents and QREs,
provides both productivity and defect reporting to Team Members
