1. Kata team members must all wear the same type of Karate Gi. - ANS-F

2. The total time allowed for the Kata and BUNKAI demonstration combined, is six

21. It is the responsibility of the coach or competitor to notify the name and the number
of the Kata to the score table prior each round. - ANS-F

23. A previously performed Kata may be repeated only if used as tiebreaker. - ANS-F

24. The Karate-Gi trousers may be slightly shorter so as to only cover half of the shin. -

26. In the event that there are 3 or less Competitors a single Kata is performed to
determine 1st through 3rd place. - ANS-F

27. With 5-10 competitors two groups and the four highest scoring of each group go on
to medal matches. - ANS-F

28. If the number of competitors is 25-48, four groups are formed. After the first Kata the
top 4 competitors from each group will pass to the second round. - ANS-F
