Arrector pili muscle - - causes goosebumps Baldness (alopecia) - -thinning of the hair in both sexes basal cell carcinoma - - Least malignant and most common skin cancer - Stratum basale cells proliferate and invade the dermis and hypodermis - Slow growing and do not often metastasize - Can be cured by surgical excision in 99%of the cases Basement membrane (a.k.a.Glassy membrane) - - connects hair bulb to connective tissue Breasts - -found on male and female sexes Bronzing - - Golden brown skin color due to Addison's disease (decreased glucocorticoid hormone) looks like a permanent suntan.
