1936
- Bishop of munster, Galen, thanks the Fuhrer for militarizing the
Rhineland and asks god to bless his endeavors
- The national socialist teachers league asks teachers not to teach
religion within school – lessons reduced
JUNE
- Confessional pastors criticize nazi ideology and hundreds are sent to
concentration camps and church funds confiscated
