Experiment #: 1
Title: Video and Lab Report
Purpose: The goal of this lab is presented in 2 parts. The first part of the lab is for the
person performing the lab to understand pipettes and how they work and properly
function. The person performing the lab should also be able to distinguish and correctly
use the different types of pipettes in the correct laboratory situation. The final objective
for part 1 goal is for the person recording the data in their lab notebook to properly use
and differentiate if their results are accurate or precise. Part 2 of the goals for this lab is
for the person performing the lab to understand when and why they would need to use
electrophoresis. They would also be able to perform electrophoresis so that it would
help aid in getting the results needed to complete the lab.
