It is assumed that Byron wrote this poem about his cousin’s wife
Was from a poor noble family and his dad squandered away all the money
they had and left his family
Was born a year before the French revolution
Was a womaniser so he was very charming
He was born with a deformed foot
Scandalous and had a number of illegitimate children from numerous affairs.
RHYME SCHEME:
Iambic tetrameter

Three six-line stanzas, known as a sestet

2nd stanza is physical beauty
