supermarkets and diverse product offerings. Headquartered in
Hertfordshire, England, Tesco operates across Europe and Asia, offering
groceries, clothing, electronics, and more. With innovations like self-
service checkouts and the Clubcard loyalty program, Tesco prioritizes
customer satisfaction. It also ventures into banking and
telecommunications through Tesco Bank and Tesco Mobile. Committed to
sustainability, Tesco aims to reduce its environmental impact and support
local communities. Despite challenges, Tesco remains a prominent
business in the global retail landscape, adapting to changing consumer

330,000 employees as of 2024.
Business Activities: Tesco has many businesses activities. Some of the key
business activities include sustainability and corporate responsibility,
technology and innovation, main operations, financial services, food and
beverage industry and retail operations.
Tesco operates many supermarkets and convenience stores that sell a
diverse range of products that include fresh produce, household goods,
electronics, clothing and more. As well as this, they supply a wide variety
of food products for their consumers such as packaged foods, beverages,
snacks and ready to eat meals (these include their own brand plus
others). Tesco provide a wide range of financial services to their
customers that include credit cards, loans, saving products and banking.
These services ensure customer loyalty and ensure customers come back
to make more sales for the company.
Methods of Recruitment: Tesco have various methods of recruiting their
candidates to their diverse job roles. The first method that Tesco uses to
advertise their job roles is via the internet; this can be either on their
official website or on apps such as Indeed, LinkedIn, and Glassdoor. This
allows candidates to browse positions and apply directly online. Linking to
this method, Tesco also used social media to advertise job roles. For
example, they would advertise on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to
engage with potential candidates and highlight its employer brand. This is
a main method that Tesco uses as it allows Tesco to reach a wide range of
job applicates quickly and build a positive relationship.

candidates for specialized and more important positions. These agencies
