Statement of Purpose:
The purpose of this lab is to construct an astable multivibrator circuit using 555 timer IC and use
Arduino Nano Every as an oscilloscope to plot the discharge and charge time of a polarized
electrolytic capacitor. The dependence of the capacitor’s charge and discharge time on resistors,
included in the circuit, will also be investigated.
