Lab 4- BJTs, MOSFETs, and Motors
Name: NetID:
Lab 4.1: 07/11/2023 Lab 4.2: 07/17/2023
Due Date: 7/25/2023
Statement of Purpose:
In this lab, we investigated the behaviors of two transistors: BJT and MOSFET.
Transistors can be used for many applications, including switches and amplifiers.
Besides, transistors behave differently over certain cutoff regions: linear and
saturated regions. Hence for this lab, we highlighted these different regions
through plots obtained from building and stimulating circuits with LTSpice.
Furthermore, we leveraged the BJT and MOSFET transistors to ameliorate the
performance of a DC motor by amplifying a digital output current.
