Checking an injured or ill Adult - Answer-1. Check for responsiveness
-put gloves on
-tap shoulders and ask if they are okay
2. Call 911, this person is unconscious
-if they are face down, roll face up by taking there arm closer to you above their head.
Take the leg further from you and place it on top of the other leg.
3. Open the Airway
-tilt head, lift chin
4. Check for breathing
-10 seconds
5. Quickly scan for severe bleeding

CPR (no breathing) - Answer-After checking the scene and the injured/ill person:
1. Give 30 chest Compressions
-Push hard and fast in the middle of the chest at least 2 inches deep and at least 100
compressions per minute.
2. Give two rescue breaths
-Tilt the head back and the chin up.
-Pinch the nose shut then make a complete seal over the persons mouth.
-Blow in for about 1 second to make the chest clearly rise.
-Give rescue breaths on after the other.
NOTE: If the chest does not rise, re-tilt head and give another rescue breath.
-Continue cycles of CPR

chest.

-place a fist with the thumb side against against the middle of the persons abdomen,
just above the naval.
3. Continue Care.
