What do you know about our product? - answerOpen-source ERP SaaS software. In
simple terms, it's a business management software, where different departments have
an application where they are all integrated with each other.
What is a customer success manager? - answerIt's a post-sales, client interacting
position, invested in ensuring customers have a positive experience with a product and
they hit whatever goals they are aiming for. Build a strong and lasting relationship with
them. Up-selling the product for additional features that can be useful to them as well.
Work with Small to mid size businesses. Which is why I want to become a CSM.
Why do you want to be a CSM? Why do you think you would be a good fit for this
position?
What traits do you have that would make you be qualified for this role? - answerI
consider myself to be a strategic problem solver at heart. I'm also a people's person, I
love interacting with others. My outgoing and friendly personality have been well
regarded by coworkers and clients in the past. For example when I worked at SpaceX,
these traits were evident and my supervisor had the confidence to assign me to perform
a face to face audit with our client. I had NASA and the military audit my performance
while at the same time, I had to build and maintain a strong relationship with them. I
think that was a valuable experience because it portrayed my knowledge of our product
while also having the chance to interact and engage with our customer. This position is
perfect for me because it not only involves communicating with the client but allows me
to help them with their business by providing them with solutions that Odoo can provide
to make their business more successful. Customer retention is very important in a
business in my opinion. And I would like to contribute to that mission.
What are your long-term goals? - answerGrow with a company where I can continue to
learn, take on additional responsibilities, and contribute as much value as I can.
Tell me about yourself - answerI'm part of the first generation of my family to be born
and raised here in the United States. Spanish was my first language, my parents are
from Mexico. I'm motivated and thrilled to make them proud and make the most of the
, opportunity being here in silicon valley. My passion for tech and innovation lead me to
move here.
I'm a result driven self-starter that loves to learn and explore challenging tasks. My
ability to communicate in an effective yet simple manner have been well regarded by
past employers. Where they assigned me additional responsibilities that involved
training new employees, customer support, client facing audits, and to even delegate
tasks between my colleagues when my supervisor was not around. I want to work as a
Customer Success manager because it's an area where I can use those abilities to
create solid long term relationships and my diverse background in manufacturing,
engineering, sales, and economics would be unique for a customer success manager
because having a variety of experience in different fields would be useful given that
Odoo works with different types of businesses. I want to work for Odoo in particular
because of its innovative 50+ applications for business management. I have a passion
for tech and innovation in general, and I seek software companies that have the desire
to push boundaries. Odoo seems to fit that description and I would like to contribute
value as it grows.
