Lulu group international, a private limited company (a
company that belongs to an ordinary person or a bunch of
individuals and not the government) that has established
itself globally by running a chain of hypermarkets and
retail companies. Originally founded in the year 2000 by
the well-known Indian businessman M.A Yusuf Ali, who
runs the business as a sole trader which means that he is the only owner, hence he
can keep all the net profit after all the taxes have been paid off . Moreover, the
company is headquartered in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E. Its arguably one of the biggest retail
chains in central Asia and without a doubt the largest in the middle east with a
startling number of 180 outlets operating in the gulf cooperation council alone.
Moving on, the history of Lulu international group goes back all the way to the year
1995 which is when they opened their first supermarket in the emirate of Abu Dhabi,
eventually opening multiple stores within Abu Dhabi and Dubai as well. In the year
2013, the lulu group earned its name for being the biggest shopping mall in India
after launching a branch in Kochi, Kerala. It would take a huge number of employees

around 40,000 employees that come from 37 different countries.
