Job purpose:
We are looking to employ an accounts assistant that is detail originated and experienced to assist in
our finance department. The Accounts Assistant is an important role in our company’s accounting
department. The Accounts assistant with the rest of the team is responsible for maintaining an
organised and accurate financial information for the business. In this position, you will be
responsible for many different day to day financial operations including sales and purchase ledgers,
updating our clients’ records and filling in documentation. Your responsibilities also include
reporting the financial information to the finance manager.


Main duties and responsibilities:

 To undertake accounts tasks within the team to ensure departmental deadlines are met
 To promote the use of Insight supplier portal with suppliers and internal departments
 To take responsibility for supplier’s accounts
 To investigate supplier queries and ensure they are resolved efficiently
 To identify key business partners and create strong working relationships
 Ensuring that all office expenditure remains within budget. Any other ad hoc requirements
as specified by the Team Manager
 Regularly updating all accounting ledgers and journals.
