Module: Cognitive Psychology

Week 12 lecture – Module Review

Outline
For todays’ session, we are going to be reviewing some of the topics covered in the
module.

The portfolio
 All details are on blackboard – go to the assessment folder where you will find
the details for every single week.

 You must submit your portfolio as ONE document!

 Due on 4th January 1:00 PM – try to submit it before that!

 Every single element of the portfolio can be done whether or not you have
attended the session.

 Marks scheme – you will get a general feedback on each of the rubric.

 Week 12 – you only need to take the blackboard quiz which will go live from
tomorrow morning until next Wednesday. Take the quiz in a quiet environment
so that you don’t get distracted. You only get one chance to do it. It’s worth
10%

 Font size Times New Roman 12 is fine to use. Avoid 2.0 for spacing.

 Make the portfolio look professional

 Leave the template in with your answer!

 We are not looking for detailed referencing here, but there are some areas
where putting in referencing is good practice.

 You should put in your word count after each week.

 There is no overall word limit

 You will get marked down if you write excessively

 The quiz consists of 30 multiple choice questions

Week 5: The Stroop Test pen and paper vs computerised
