This is a summary document made by a year 13 student leading up to a level exams to aid exam revision.
I strongly recommend you to get this document as used almost two years to complete this notes. It consists most of the common mistakes you would make for all the topics in OCR A physics specification, as well as some additional knowledge (in the boundary of the A level syllabus, so the teacher may not tell you but it could come up in exam) to let you comprehend those concepts. I included some diagrams so you could have a better understanding when facing those complicated ones. Hope this can help...
In this document, I summarised the definitions that would be very likely to appear in the A level exam (at least this year all the definitions appeared was in my notes so I slay that part :) I made the descriptions as short as possible so it easier to recite (of course you would still gain full marks). I don't recommend you to recite the index from the text book (OCR A physics). Although it contains all the definitions, most of them are useless as they would never appear in exam, some terms are...
This document includes most of the experiment or practicals in the OCR A physics specification. I can guarantee you if you recite the points in the notes, you can get to the 5-6 marks band when facing the 6 markers. I also included a answer structure so even you face some unfamiliar 6 mark questions, you can use this format to gain most of the marks. Hope you guys would like this ;)
This document includes the summary of how to deal with significant figures when facing OCR exam calculation questions. It also contains information about how to find absolute uncertainties and percentage uncertainties, especially for drawing the line of best fit and determine the value and the absolute uncertainty questions. Hope this can help in your A level Exams :)
