This poster presentation seeks to evaluate British Chinese pupils academic attainment and it’s affecting factors. Francis and Archer (2005) argue that this is greatly down to parents’ constructions of the value of education (Francis and Archer, 2005). I will use a semi-structured interview to collect and gather information about the perspective of a beautician and their views on the impact of digital media for women and how they perceive themselves as a result.
