These documents contain high level analysis of the AQA Power and conflict poetry. There are four highlighted key quotes for each poem to make quote learning easier and these annotations contain structure, form, language analysis and context as well.

These notes provide an in-depth annotation of ‘The Emigrée by Carol Rumens’ that got me a grade 9 in AQA GCSE English Literature. I annotated each poem with a mixture of online videos and my English teacher’s guidance. Each annotation is for each line of the poem, including language and structural techniques, both of which helped me attain a grade 9 in English literature.
