I focus on how both female protagonists of both books overcome the oppression that they experience. Whilst they are on two different scales, there are some commonalities between character development which is what I am able to explore. This is an A grade piece of coursework, with all the relevant references at the bottom of the essay .

How is Masculinity presented in "A Streetcar Named Desire"

(0)
£7.49
0x  sold

I focus on the relationship between Stanley and Blanche. Blanche's arrival to Elysian Fields creates an oscillation of power between the two genders and we see this through Stanley and Blanche. Blanche begins to emasculate Stanley in his own household and so he is forced to regain and re-establish his masculinity through sexual violence. I track 3 key scenes where we see Stanley lose his masculinity, Blanche gains it, and then Stanley is able to regain it through sexual domination.

How Is Reputation portrayed in Othello.

(0)
£7.29
1x  sold

Here is an A* essay question on the reputation of Othello. The way I have decided to approach this question is through the development of Othello and how he begins as a man of military prowess and high status. However due to his fear of cuckoldry, he regresses into bestial ways, further diminishing his honor and reputation, which he has worked so hard to build.
