problems, but female football players often need a job after or during their football career,
because they can not survive from the money they make with their sports career. It would
be good if sports profits were reassigned internationally so different athletes and sports
could benefit instead of just a few sports and one sex.
First of all, females and males do not get paid the same, while they should both get the same
amount of money. For sports like tennis, golf, baseball, speed skating, basketball and water
polo the difference in profits is really big and that will not change for a long time. Football on
the other side is really making developments. In the USA, both female and male national
football teams get paid the same. Not so long ago this was introduced in the USA.
Unfortunately, in other countries, there is still a big difference between men and women.
Secondly, life after a sports career is really different. Men can mostly just retire and do not
have to work after their careers. Females on the other hand have to work because they do
not make as much money as men do. This is really unfair. Male and female athletes do
deserve the same profits because they both do the same thing, they both have worked hard
their entire life to play at the highest level possible. So it is weird that they do not get paid
the same. If sports profits were reassigned internationally the difference between the
incomes of men and women will not be as big, which will also fix life after their sports
careers.
Thirdly, some countries are richer than other countries, which means that for example,
athletes from America have more profits than athletes from Afghanistan. This should be
equal in every country over the entire world. Therefore, sports profits should be reassigned
internationally so different athletes and sports could benefit instead of just a few sports and
one sex.
In conclusion, sports profits should be reassigned internationally so different athletes and

not get paid the same even when they play the same sport. Also, life after sports careers is

that athletes sometimes get paid less than athletes in richer countries, even though they

athletes will be treated equally no matter what sport they play or which sex they are.
