You need to do a comparison of the roles and objecties of diferent agents. You must demonstrate
knowledge of the diferent agents by giiing at least three examples from all three sectors, supported
by informaton about their diferent roles within tourism deielopment. The three sectors are:

• Priiate atracton.

• Voluntary sector agents-

The traiel and tourism industry is one of the fastest growing industry in the world, and since it is
such a large industry it has plenty agents working in there. It starts from the small organisaton to
larger and successful business. For the pass criteria I will be comparing the roles and also the
objecties of diferent types of agents.

Priiate atracton –alt Disney

The priiate sector is a large and successful business with plenty companies all oier the world
(global). All the business in the priiate sector make proft in their business, but there are few
business the put efort in deielopment of tourism in some areas. The example for the priiate sector
I choose is –alt Disney. –alt Disney has many of their companies all oier the world. It is also known
as on of the biggest and most successful entertainment and media business in the world. They own a
wide range of water parks, theme parks, and cruises ships and also plenty Disney stores all around
the world. They also haie many products and seriices that they ofer to the tourists. They haie
diferent rides and other actiites that meet the needs of diferent types of iisitors from children to
elderly people, this makes eieryone enjoy the products and seriices that they proiide. Disney parks
and the resort haie been iniestng a lot of money in improiing their seriices and also their products
so that it would make it eien more appealing to the tourists, this would bring a lot of tourists in the
business and make a lot of proft. They also haie facilites like toilets, souienir shops, restaurants
and much more. They also adiertse their business on social media since it is a iery powerful way of
people to get to know your business. They also haie links with some tour operators that adiertse
their business foe them.

Animal kingdom in Disney world, their main atenton is to conserie it and also they haie a separate
secton where they tourists can learn about how to conserie the wildlife with speeches from the
people. They also promote on how they protects their parks by telling the tourists/public about their
conseriaton programme. The Disneyland is Paris was meant to be Disney land in Essex which is in
England but the reason that they built it in Paris is because if built in Essex it would create a lot of
traffic around the areas, this also helped improie their image buy thinking about the eniironment
and not creatng a lot of polluton. Disneyland parks and also the resorts employ a lot of the locals in
their job, since they want to make sure that they are helping the locals around that areas by creatng
opportunites of jobs for them. They area some repettiely beginning restoring by connecton other
subject; employment creaton since it makes more multplier efect for the parks and also the resorts
which creates positie economy by hostng the locaton. In 2013 they created a redeielopment
which changed downtown Disney to Disney spring which increased a lot of income, and they are stll
think more which of regeneraton. Disney a lot promotes understanding of culture by each them
park, culture of 11 countries are being promoted in the world.
