, Introduction
In the organisational context, business strategy is referred to as a comprehensive plan which is
generated by a business organisation with the aim of pursuing long-term organisational goals,
enhancing utilisation of resources, and gaining competitive edge in the business market in a
productive way (Johnson et al., 2017). The case study of the organisation Toyota is selected to
conduct the study. Toyota is referred to as global automotive business organisation and
considered as the second largest manufacturer of car of the world (Khan, 2024).
The study is consisted with two significant parts. The accountability of the first part of the
assignment is to conduct a comprehensive analysis on the internal and external business
environments of Toyota. Additionally, strategic objectives, actions, and derivatives will be
prioritised by the first part which are significant to align organisational internal capabilities and
external factors. In contrast, the accountability of the second part of the study is to leverage
theories, models, and concept of business strategy so that a strategic management plan can be
developed and implemented to address organisational business goals.
The study is seeking to determine and comprehensively define diverse critical factors which are
significant for the formulation and implementation of business strategies. The findings of the
study will provide valuable insights into the way business strategies can be developed and
implemented by global organisations in achieving overall business goals and enhancing
organisational business.
