1st Novel Robinson Crusoe by Daniel Defoe.
The life and strange surprising adventure of Robinson Crusoe of York mariner (sailor) who lived 28 years all alone
in an uninhabited island on the coast of America. Having been east on shore by shipwreck were all men perished
(died) but himself. How he strangely delivered by pirates (the outlaw of the oceans). The muting of the bounty

Setting (1659/1694)
1) Life before the island
- A middle class family, lived a very comfortable childhood.
- Have a dream to be a sailor, family opposite/disagree, his father wanted him to be a lawyer.
- At first he agreed to his father order, but then changed his decision because he wants to have an active life
not a boring one with the same routine.

- Friday induction (Except for his pets [parrot/cat] Crusoe is the only living person on the island. Then one
day he saves a man (victim escaped from the cannibals) and names him Friday [despite the fact that he did
not ask for his name]. He regarded himself as superior to him and claimed that person as his own property.
Friday is your new identity. English is your new language. Christianity is your new religion.) Soon Friday
became his devoted servant / Crusoe has a strong attachment to Friday, and when he mentions he misses
his family, Crusoe is afraid that Friday will abandon him. However, Friday tells him, "I won't ever leave
you," which he expresses honestly.
