, 1.What is Hsbc?
HSBC (known as Hongkong Shanghai Banking Company) is a multinational banking
and financial services company that owns other companies in the world. HSBC stays
on place seven in the world’s largest banks and is already the biggest bank in
Europe. Hsbc holdings owns an asset of US$2.521 trillion. The company sees
London and Hongkong as his home markets. Hsbc is active in 67 countries all over
the world with more than 3900 offices. Hsbc is organised in four business sectors:
commercial, global, investment, retail, global private banking and wealth
management. Hsbc shares are primary registered on the Hong Kong stock exchange
and London stock exchange. Hsbc was a long time in negative news, especially
British newspapers were critical about the way Hsbc did business.
Meaning of the logo
The logo of Hsbc was announced in 1998, it’s the hexagon logo with a unified brand.
Their goal is to recognise them as a group. The logo was developed from the banks
house flag as a white rectangle divided diagonally to produce a red hourglass shape.
