Ik moest voor school een verhaal schrijven in het Engels. Dit verhaal gaat over een waardgebeurd verhaal in nederland. Promes had op een verjaarder iemand neergestoken. Misschien herrinner je dit nog. Ik heb hier mijn verhaal op gebaseerd. Mijn CIJFER was een 9.
‘HOW COULD YOU DO THIS GUYS!?’ The coach was pissed after the 3-2 loss. ‘We
could’ve won this guys. You guys just gave it away!’ All the players stared right in
front of them. Nobody was able to look at the coach or say something. After the
coach threw some random stuff in the air, he finally walked away. A very long
awkward silence followed. The players of AJAX took a shower and went home.
Promes and Blind were the last two in the locker room. ‘I’m sorry I didn’t make
the last shot, I should have made it.’ Promes said. Blind didn’t say anything. ‘So
now you can’t talk anymore?’ Promes tried his best to start a conversation but
Blind didn’t answer. ‘Seriously man, just talk! It’s not that hard! Blind ignored him
and put on his last shoe. ‘WELL YOU CAN’T TALK AND APPERENTLY NOT DEFEND!
THAT LAST GOAL WAS YOUR FAULT AND YOU KNOW THAT!’ Promes said. Blind
stood up aggressively and pushed Promes. ‘So now you want to fight?’ Blind
turned around and grabbed his bag and wanted to walk away. At that moment
Promes walked towards Blind and slapped him on his head. ‘HEY BACK UP MAN!’
Blind said while his head started bleeding. They stood like 1 meter apart from
each other and stared at each other. Exactly when Blind wanted to slap Promes
again, Dolberg came in. ‘Hi guys, I forgot my coat.’ ‘There it is.’ Blind said.
‘Thanks man!’ Dolberg was about to leave when he saw that Blind was bleeding.
‘Wait why are you bleeding? Are you okay?’ ‘Oh yeah, I’m fine.’ Blind said.
Dolberg stared at blind for a little bit then he left. Blind followed him and didn’t
look at Promes anymore.
‘No, you didn’t play that bad. Your defenders just weren’t strong today.’ ‘Thanks
mom, but we still lost and now we’re second!’ ‘I know honey, but next week you
will win!’ Promes hung up the phone and walked towards his car. He started his
car and drove home. 20 minutes later he arrived at home and went upstairs to go
to sleep. He was upset. The only things he was able to think about was the fact
that they were winning, but in the last 15 minutes the opponent scored 2 goals.
He was laying in his bed with his eyes open and thought about all the mistakes
he made. What should I’ve done there? Why did I even do that? Why didn’t I
score that shot? Those questions and dozens more were stuck in his head. After 1
hour of worrying he finally fell asleep.
Promes woke up with a text from his nephew. Yo man, tomorrow is my birthday
and I really want to celebrate that with the whole family. You want to come? It’s
from 6pm till 11pm at my house. Greetings from your favourite nephew! Promes
didn’t want to go. He was to upset from their loss last night. Sure man, of course
I want to come to your birthday! See you tomorrow! After he texted his nephew
he went downstairs and ate some breakfast. He decided to go for a run. After a
small run of about 5 kilometres he took a nice warm shower. The rest of the day
he laid on the couch and watched television with his son.
‘Happy birthday bro!’ Promes said to his nephew while entering the house. ‘I love
your house man, it’s so nice and big!’ Promes hung up his coat and followed his
nephew into the living room. In the room were like 30 people already partying. It
was a very big party. That’s not weird, because it was his 28 th birthday. There
were many drinks like beer and wine. After talking with some friends Promes
