,1.Assignments lesson 2
1) Fill in your dashboard page 27 DYL book.
, 1.1 Write a few sentences about how it’s going in each of the four areas.
Health gauge: Even though I am in good general health, because I am young, I have not reached my
ideal shape and weight, I am trying to work out, however, there is no steady dedication and consistency
in regular healthy diet habits, except biking every day. Working on spiritual and mental health constantly
and improving. Collecting wisdom at this young age. I could read more books, try meditation, go more
often to yoga as it has a great impact on my life and be kinder to myself. I rate my health as slightly less
than ‘’half full’.
Work gauge: I work as a hostess in a hotel restaurant for around 30 hours per week, and sometimes I
help a friend in another small restaurant, hours per week and month vary. I am studying, which I
consider as work time as well; being concentrated on reading, writing, researching and remembering is
sometimes even more challenging for the brain than a psychical work. I rate my work as three quarters.
Play gauge: I play by socializing, talking to people, walking in nature, and meeting friends for a coffee,
lunch dinner, partying, or just chilling. This gives me energy, but sometimes I wonder what to do to feel
more joy in my day, I do not have a hobby or something that is my passion and give me feeling of
contentment. I rate my play as half full.
Love gauge: Love takes the biggest space in my life and without it, there is no meaning at all. First and
utmost love to and from my family and friends, giving my love, support, and care to them keeps me
alive, and receiving the same. Love for nature, animals, the sun, goodness, and kindness, coming from
small things, the love in art and music, that make you think deeply and emotionally. Love is everywhere
and it brightens my day and fills my heart and soul. My love rate is three-quarters.
1.2 Ask yourself if there’s a design problem, you’d like to tackle in any of these areas.
-Current relationship issues, good mental health, dedication to regular sports activity, increasing my play
activities to feel better with myself alone, accepting that my own choices are not always the best, and
improving them in the future by fighting out patterns in my own behaviour.
1.3 Now ask yourself if your “problem” is a gravity problem.
• I believe the “problem” is not a gravity one, as it can be acted on it and there are solutions that are not
out of my reach, but a lot of effort is required.
2) Work view reflection
• Why work?
I work to provide for myself, to physically survive, to develop certain professional skills and personal
growth, to meet people, and to help people in different ways or to provide them with joy, depending on
the work.
• What’s work for?
Work is needed to provide people with amenities/services. Work is there to teach young people
discipline and independence, work is to respect oneself by taking care of the money one earns and
