A tourism professional.
A tourism professional, in my opinion, possesses excellent communication, teamwork, and customer
service abilities. In the tourism industry, communication is always crucial. You must also enjoy
difficulties and be open to the possibility of change. It's critical to recognize that individuals all around
the world have various ways of doing things, and you'll need to be able to communicate across cultures.
A list of criteria for a tourism professional includes interpersonal skills, personality, and view on life,
among other things. These abilities, as well as an understanding of the demands of travel, will help you
have a successful and rewarding career in the travel and tourism industry (Owlgen, 2021)
Me as a tourism professional.
Aside from my studies, I've already had some professional experience. I've already finished a tourist
MBO level 4 study as well as an aviation MBO level 4 study. In addition, I worked at a hostel and a
campsite's front desk for quite a long time. Furthermore, I conducted an internship as a flight attendant,
with TUI Fly. I've also worked at a coffee bar at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, where I had to work
flexible hours and deal with a wide range of customers from all nationalities and cultures. And because
I've learnt so much over the last 2.5 years at Breda University of Applied Sciences, I consider myself a
tourism professional.
My arguments for this statement are that during my education, placements, and work, I have gathered a
great deal of experience. I would characterize myself as a people-oriented person that strives for success
via honesty, determination, preparation, and cooperation, while also contributing to society with my
knowledge and expertise. Positive, social, eager, and ambitious are key qualities that describe me.
What kind of work and organisation.
I'm still undecided about the type of work I want to do or the type of organization I want to work for.
For the time being, I'd like to continue and finish my studies while also improving myself and my
abilities. For the second semester of this year, I'm hoping to locate a nice and educational placement that
will help me figure out what kind of work I want to undertake. I'm ready to learn more and grow as a
person. I've always claimed that I'd like to manage, and that it would most likely be in the tourist or
recreation and hospitality industry.
I've always worked in the recreation and hospitality industry and would like to do so again. For the time
being, I'm employed as a waitress in a restaurant in Breda. The interaction with visitors, the hard labour,
the flexible hours, and the sense of success at the conclusion of a shift are all things I enjoy.
Tasks and responsibilities I aspire.
I want a job where I can do a variety of activities and have a variety of responsibilities. For example, I
am an excellent planner and organizer so I aspire to use these abilities while conducting tasks. My
preferred method of communication is through facts, statistics, and logics. As a result, I aspire to be
given tasks and responsibilities in this field. In my areas of expertise, I am likely to feel at ease
expressing my thoughts.
