Understanding clinical practice standards, evidence -based tec hniques, translational research, and treatment options in many diagnostic categories are also required for scientific core competency. A culturally accepted and competent alternative to doing more research using evidence -based techniques using my basic sci entific skills is the quality of health care at the community level (Thomas et al., 2017) .
