This is BTEC level3 business. Unit 13. I managed to get a pass grade in this part of my assignment. In this document you can see what I have done in P4
P4) ten questions to ask in an interview:
Why do you want to become a bank cashier?
I have good communication skills and I enjoy talking to people. I believe I could be a great cashier,
and that’s the main reason why I apply for this job.
How would you convince the customer to become a client of this bank?
First of all, I would try to create a good friendly relationship with them. Sales are about relations.
Once I gain their trust, it will be easier to sell them our products. I would also always look at things
from their perspective, so they would feel that we care for them and not just our profits.
Have you worked in a bank before?
I have worked as a bank cashier at RBS for two years. I really liked my job, but they closed our
banking centre. I would like to continue my career in the same field, that’s why I applied here.
Why should we hire you?
I have a lot of customer service experience. I have an ability to uncover the needs of the others, and
sell them what they really need. I have many years of experience in this job role and I have always
been said from my previous managers that I am one of the main cashiers in their bank and I always
master my job. I think you should hire me because I have very good numeracy and communication
skills. I can communicate with the customers very easily and help them to open up an account with
us and advise them easily on what products would be suitable for them.
Why Did You Choose Our Bank?
Your bank is the best bank in the UK for all the classes. I would be proud to work for you.
What Are Your Weaknesses?
I used to like to work on one project to its completion before starting on another, but I've learned to
work on many projects at the same time, and I think it allows me to be more creative and effective in
each one.
What Are Your Strengths?
I have excellent communication and organizational skills and I am a very responsible person.
Tell us of a successful sales experience.
A client whose account I was handling came in one day along with a friend. While I was processing
transactions for the client, I could sense the interest of his friend. I engaged him in conversation and
convinced him to open an account with us.
What's your least favourite part of working here?
Dealing with angry and aggressive customers.
From your point of view, what characterize a good cashier?
Great communication and customer service skills combined with cash handling and management
abilities can make someone the best cashier.
