- In 4 weeks, the customer will give a mark of 8 for his mental state and a mark of 8 for the fitness
activity.
- The client must train twice a week for the next 4 weeks.
Training goal long-term Goal - Goal(s) for over 16 weeks (SMART)
Motoric (physically):
- Lose 10kg of bodyweight
- Being able to train 45 min. on the treadmill with a HR of 75%
- Being able to perform 8 strength exercises at 75% of 1RM and comply with 4 of the 4 points of attention.
Cognitive (knowledge / learning goals):
- The client can name all the important points of the 8th strength exercises and understands which exercises targets what muscles.
Social (sense):
- In 16 weeks, the customer will give a mark of 9,5 for his mental state and a mark of 9,5 for the fitness
activity.
- The client must train structurally 2 times a week in 16 weeks.

INITIAL SITUATION client DESCRIPTION + CONSEQUENCES FOR THE TRAINER
Motoric: Age: 28
Weight: 81kg.
Sport history: The customer has been training with me for the past 8 weeks and there is even more of an improvement
motor level wise in terms of cardio / strength training, however the customer still haven’t reached his physical condition
goals so
customer must do his best during the training sessions in order to successfully achieve his goals.
Physical condition: The customer has not done much cardio / strength training in the past besides the 8 weeks of personal
training with me and the farm work when he was kid so has some basic level of conditioning.
Consequences for the trainer and the training sessions: This means that I have to build the program according to intensity calmly,
to avoid injuries.
Cognitive: Knowledge considering fitness: The customer has not done any cardio/strength training in the past 15 years. The customer started
training two months ago and he is having a great time. The customer notices that his condition is much better from the time he
started 8 weeks ago. The customer is still very insecure about his body, so he wants to continue exercising. After 8 weeks, the
customer already has a good basic knowledge of the cardio/strength machines and how to deal with them compared to when he
started exercising here 2 month ago.
Socially - affective: Social / mental initial situation: After 8 weeks of knowing the customer, I notice that a relationship of trust is already starting to
, form between the 2 of us. I also notice from the customer that he already finds it a lot easier to have an open attitude towards me.
He dares to ask questions if he doesn't know/understand something and I notice that he is very satisfied with what he has achieved
and that gives him even more motivation to continue. I like to see that because I think you can work best with motivated customers,
that also makes the training sessions more fun.
Consequence: Since the customer has been training in the gym for the past 8 weeks he feels way more comfortable then before and
have started even saying hello to people he sees regularly there. He is also more willing to try out new exercises.

Sport history: I’ve been doing sports the past 7 years, Specifically calisthenics/weightlifting and from time to time some cardio like
swimming/cycling.
Physical condition: Because I already train for several years my physical condition is very good. I have no injuries.
Consequences for the trainer and the training sessions: As a result I can show the client all the exercises without any
problems.

Cognitive: Knowledge considering fitness: Three months ago I started the Fitness trainer A course. I already have done strength/cardio
training for he past 7 years and I've also taken a few other courses regarding biomechanics/anatomy and training related studies.
Consequences for the trainer and the training sessions: This allows me to technically explain all the exercises from the
training schedule.

General: Particularies: We train at 11:00AM and it can be busy in the gym. We may not be able to do all the exercises in the correct order. I
will tell the customer this so that the customer knows that this is normally not the correct order.
Training accommodation: Gym, matress, cardio
Materials: Pull up bar, matress, 4 strength devices, Dumbbells, Barbell, 2 cardio devices.
